The previous season largely served as a build-up to the upcoming season, which will see the climactic war between the Paranormal Liberation front led by Tomura Shigaraki, and the heroes. The sixth season of My Hero Academia was announced at the end of the previous season, My Hero Academia season 5, which aired between March and September 2021. This third and final trailer features a glimpse at the upcoming war arc between the heroes and villains, and serves as the final trailer released ahead of the October 1 premiere.
